Pamlico & pungo river dock restoration

DOCK RESTORATION

Wooden dock extending over water with a boat on a lift to the right, and trees in the background under a cloudy sky.

Your dock should be a place to relax, fish, and enjoy the water—not something you worry about walking on. Over time, constant exposure to water, sun, and weather can leave your dock worn, slippery, and deteriorating.

Stain Crew provides professional dock restorations that improves safety, restores appearance, and extends the life of your dock without the cost of a full rebuild.

BRING YOUR DOCK BACK TO LIFE

Is your dock gray, dirty, and weathered from the harsh Pamlico and coastal conditions? Maybe it’s time to get it cleaned up. We use ECO-Friendly products when cleaning docks over water. We start off by applying the cleaning solution and follow up with a low pressure - pressure wash. Once the dock is cleaned, we wait a few days for it to dry and come back and stain it with your color of choice!

wash & stain

  • Extends the life of your dock boards

  • Improves safety by reducing slippery surfaces due to organic growth

  • Restores the natural look of the wood

  • Protects against moisture, algae, and UV damage

  • A beautifully stained dock pairs nicely with a freshly waxed boat!

WHY Stain YOUR DoCK?

SIGNS YOUR DOCK NEEDS Attention

Not sure if your dock needs work? Look for these common issues:

  • Faded, gray, or weathered wood

  • Slippery buildup from algae or mildew

  • Splintering or rough walking surfaces

  • Loose, warped, or damaged boards

  • Peeling or worn-out stain/sealant

  • Soft spots from prolonged moisture exposure

If the structure is still solid, restoration can add years of life.

dock board replacement

Are your dock boards too far gone and in need of attention? Is the frame and pilings of your structure still solid? Great! This is a perfect job for Stain Crew. We have the knowledge and expertise to remove and replace your dock boards and resurface with all new pressure treated lumber and stainless steel components. Once all that new lumber is replaced, we recommend letting us stain and seal it so you’ll never have to replace again!
